Home Staging for Real Estate Agents

A listing partner who works to your photo date, gets along with your sellers and leaves the house ready for the camera.

Home Staging for Real Estate Agents: staged living room on Grove Run Road, Commercial Point
Grove Run Road | Commercial Point

Home staging for realtors should be one less thing on your plate. We're a Newark-based studio staging listings across Columbus and Central Ohio, and our process is built around the calendar you're already juggling: listing date, photographer, first showings.

Staging for real estate agents who work to a date

Most installs take one to two days. Once the proposal is approved and the contract is signed, we lock in install dates that work back from your photo day. Delivery, styling and setup are finished before the photographer arrives, not while they're setting up a tripod.

Our standard staging term is 30 days, with extensions available if the listing runs longer than planned.

Photo-day ready

Listing photos are where most buyers meet the house, so we stage for the lens as much as for the walkthrough. Furniture is placed to show circulation and scale, lamps are on, surfaces are edited down, and the focus rooms (entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen and primary suite) get the most attention.

Clear communication runs through all of it. From the estimate to the install, you and your seller will know what's happening and when, which means fewer texts asking whether the stager is still coming Thursday.

Booking on your seller's behalf

Many agents start the process for their sellers. Send the property details through the free estimate form and we'll return an initial estimate based on size and scope. From there we schedule the onsite assessment with you, your seller, or both, whichever is easiest, and send the final proposal to whoever is booking.

Sellers can be nervous about strangers rearranging their lives. Johanna is good with people, and it shows.

I was beyond impressed with Jovi French Staging. Johanna the owner, took a masculine cabin and somehow made it light, cozy, and upscale. She was so relatable and hit it off with my client which was a huge plus. I cannot wait to use her company again on future listings and flips!
Jenna, real estate agent

That last line matters to us most. We want to be the stager you call on the next listing too, and on the one after that.

Home Staging for Real Estate Agents: questions

Can I book staging on my seller's behalf?

Yes. Many of our requests come from agents. Submit the property through the free estimate form, and we'll send an initial estimate based on size and scope. We'll coordinate the onsite assessment with whoever makes the most sense, you, your seller or both, and the final proposal goes to whoever is booking.

Who pays for staging, the agent or the seller?

That's between you and your seller. Some agents cover staging as part of their listing service; many sellers pay for it directly. We're happy either way. The contract and payment sit with whoever books, and we'll make sure everyone knows what to expect from the proposal onward.

How quickly can you stage a listing?

Most installations take one to two days once dates are secured. The steps before that are the estimate, an onsite assessment and the final proposal. Tell us your target photo date when you request the estimate and we'll plan the schedule around it.

Will the house be ready for listing photos?

That's the goal of every install. We handle delivery, styling and setup so the home is ready for photos and showings when we leave. We recommend booking the photographer for after the install is complete rather than the same morning.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Newark and stage homes throughout Central Ohio, including Columbus and its suburbs, Licking County and beyond. Our portfolio runs from Buckeye Lake and Granville out to Commercial Point and Urbana. See areas we serve, or just ask.
